Our Story: Turning Lemons into Wine (Literally!)

During the pandemic, Brady and Alex Reiter were stuck at home like the rest of the world — but instead of baking bread, they went renegade. Brady, a former technology executive with a passion for cooking and experimenting, started tinkering with lemons in the basement. When the two of them tasted the very first batch, they knew instantly they had struck gold.

From that moment on, it was no longer just a side project — it became their shared mission. Together, they’ve been all in, as partners and teammates, building Renegade Lemonade from a basement curiosity into a bold national brand.

Alex brought her background as a college professor at Georgia Highlands College, where she taught human communication and public speaking. Her ability to connect with people, light up a room, and share their vision became a vital force for Renegade. Combined with Brady’s operational drive and creative spark, the two built a company that now reaches fans across the country.

Today, Renegade Lemonade is distributed nationwide — from the Southeast to Texas to the Pacific Northwest — with more states joining every year. But here’s the truth: we’re still the underdog. Every new state means fighting for shelf space, proving ourselves again and again, and convincing distributors and retailers to take a chance on something different. We don’t have the deep pockets of the big brands. What we do have is grit, passion, and a product that makes people say, “Wow, I’ve never had anything like this.”

Renegade Lemonade BOLD is the only 100% lemon-based alcohol on the market — a higher-octane version of our original lemon wine, clocking in at 14–16% ABV depending on the state. It’s smooth, refreshing, and unapologetically bold.

We’re launching in three flavors: Original Lemon, Georgia Peach, and Cotton Candy. Each one is authentic, citrus-forward, and balanced — with no artificial colors, no artificial flavors, and no malt-based bloating like other ready-to-drink products.
