In 2020, as the world hit pause, we took a leap of faith with a wild idea: to turn lemons into wine. We had no roadmap, no formal training—just stubborn optimism and a few dusty recipe books.
In the basement of our small-town Georgia home, Renegade Lemonade was born as a spark of creativity and hope in the middle of the storm.
This has always been a family affair—a passion project that grew into our full-time mission. We’re not some faceless corporation. We’re Brady and Alex, with our four daughters—and our spirited dogs, Renegade and his son Chief—pouring our hearts into every bottle.
Even our name has meaning. Renegade is the name of our beloved dog—a free spirit who inspired us to break the mold. It’s also a nod to our days at Florida State University, where Renegade, the iconic horse ridden by Chief Osceola, embodies boldness, pride, and unshakable spirit. We embraced that renegade energy to craft wines that defy expectation—transforming the humble lemon into something unexpectedly extraordinary.
Every late-night lemon experiment was powered by love and the belief that we were creating something worth sharing. And at the heart of it all is our mission: to elevate and celebrate the lemon—and to give back while we do it. That’s why we donate 10% of our profits to U.S.-based nonprofits that support the people and communities we see every day—the local heroes, helpers, and changemakers making a difference where it matters most.

The most-requested twist on our original wine? Add bubbles. So when a retailer asked for a sparkling version, we didn’t just listen—we leapt. The results are spectacular, and this sparkling wine has a gold medal to prove it.
We wanted the entire experience to reflect who we are—from the bright, bold liquid to the label that tells our story. We poured ourselves into every detail of this wine: how it looks, how it tastes, how it makes people feel.
Our playful logo is printed directly onto the glass using a special technique we love—clean and modern. And our daughter Lily, at 21, illustrated a lemon branch by hand that now lives on the back of every bottle. It’s personal. It’s us. And yes, we went with a crown cap instead of a cork—not only because it’s cool, hip, and elegant, but because it captures the spirit of doing things the Renegade way.
And the wine inside? A brut-style sparkler that’s drier, with just enough lemony sweetness on the front end to keep things interesting. Crisp, bubbly, and citrusy—like Prosecco if it grew up with a twist of sunshine and a renegade streak.
